About

Welcome! Connection is at the heart of my clinical work and I look forward to learning your story and working collaboratively to support you. I specialize in trauma-informed, relationship-based therapy. I believe that the therapeutic relationship is the foundation of healing, offering clients the space and support to explore their stories without judgment. My approach is holistic, experiential, and deeply individualized to support each client's unique needs and goals. I am passionate about helping my clients cultivate a deeper relationship with themselves, fostering internal safety and comfort so they can authentically engage in their lives. I strive to be deeply attuned to the cultural and personal aspects of each individual and I work to integrate these into my therapeutic practice with sensitivity and compassion. When I am not at work, I can be found skiing, mountain biking, trail running, and whitewater rafting. I enjoys spending time outdoors with friends (and their dogs), reading, making art, and relaxing by the fire with a cup of tea.

Care Philosophy

As a clinician, I believe healing must be a collaborative, client-driven process, where every individual’s autonomy is respected and their experiences are met with empathy and understanding. I specialize in supporting women experiencing major life transitions including perinatal (pregnancy, post-loss, and postpartum) mental health, anxiety, trauma, grief, loss, and identity changes. Perinatal mental health focuses on the emotional and psychological wellbeing of the birthing parent and other individuals involved during pregnancy and one year postpartum. I strive to create a space for processing, skill building, and nervous system regulation, while simultaneously supporting the entire family system. I believe that becoming a parent can be one of life’s most meaningful and challenging transitions, and does not have to be navigated alone. With a background in wilderness and adventure therapy, I integrate nature-based approaches into my practice to help clients reconnect with their bodies and the natural world. I may be a good fit for you if you are someone who thrive in non-traditional therapy settings, as I strive to incorporate experiential modalities including time outside and interactive activities into my therapy work. I also incorporate modalities such as somatic experiencing, dialectical behavior therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy.
