About
I am an LCSW who has worked with children and families for over 15 years. I primarily work with children and parents, including new and expecting parents. I love using my knowledge of child development, attachment and interpersonal neurobiology to meet each child and family where they are and support them in reaching their goals. I have training in working with children from early childhood onward as well as in perinatal mental health. I use a variety of approaches including child centered play therapy, synergetic play therapy and theraplay for children, as well as a variety of approaches for adults. I have trained extensively with Robyn Gobbel and a course facilitator of Raising Kids with Big Baffling Behaviors.
Care Philosophy
I believe firmly in the follow tenets: All behaviors make sense… We are all doing the best we can from moment to moment… All of you is welcome, exactly as you are… Regulated, connected humans who feel safe do well. These are essential to my work and to my life.
