About
Hello- I am a Professional Counselor Associate located in Bend, OR. I work with folks in a broad range of challenges including anxiety and depression, but have a particular focus on OCD and perinatal mental health. Outside of work, I am also a parent. I love all the outdoor sports - hiking, snowboarding, climbing, and paddling. In down time I enjoy sewing, embroidery, cooking, reading, and hanging out with my goofy dog.
Care Philosophy
My counseling style is highly relational. I aim to foster warmth, empathy, and groundedness within the therapeutic relationship while also utilizing evidence-based treatments to help identify problems work towards meaningful change. My approach varies depending on the presenting factors, however I often utilize modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, exposure and response prevention, and dialectal behavior therapy.
