About

Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, I’m a true Oregon girl at heart- rain loving, coffee fueled, and fully committed to Birkenstocks in all seasons. I thrive on cozy moments, enjoying a crackling campfire, a good book, something homemade in the oven, and anything in the color purple. Originally from the PDX area, I now reside in Central Oregon with my husband Jaxun- my high school sweetheart, and our sweet, sassy pup Bentley. Creativity keeps me grounded. I love making small batch organic skincare, sewing whimsical baby mobiles, and crafting playful goodies- including placenta themed coffee mugs that tend to spark conversation. Creating with my hands is one of the ways I rest and recharge. At my core, though, I’m a birth worker. I’ve been an LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) for over 10 years, with most of that time spent in labor, delivery, and postpartum care across both hospital and home birth settings. I currently support several incredible midwives here in Central Oregon as a birth assistant. Outside of attending births, I provide IV nutrient therapy infusions and run my own postpartum doula practice, Nurture Moon Birth Services, which I founded in 2020. I’m also continuing to grow in this work- currently pursuing my IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant) and PMH-C (Perinatal Mental Health Certified) credentials so I can better support families through every phase of their journey.

Care Philosophy

The way I serve families in the postpartum season is rooted first in presence. I come in gently. I hold space. I meet families exactly where they are- whether that’s tender and tearful, exhausted and overwhelmed, or joyful and settling in. I believe postpartum care should feel warm, un-rushed, and deeply honoring of the transformation happening in a home. At the same time, I bring a layer of clinical reassurance that’s a little unconventional in the doula world. As a nurse, I’m comfortable supporting higher acuity needs when they arise. I can assess with a trained eye, recognize when something is outside the realm of normal adjustment, and help families feel grounded rather than alarmed. That peace of mind often allows parents to truly rest. With my lactation education and postpartum mental health training, I’m able to support feeding in a practical, hands-on way while also tending to the emotional landscape of early motherhood. I’m always watching for the quiet signs- depletion, anxiety, identity shifts, and creating space for those to be acknowledged and supported without judgment. Ultimately, I see myself as a bridge: between medical and holistic, between evidence-based reassurance and soft, intuitive care. Families often tell me they feel both deeply nurtured and deeply safe- and that combination is what I strive to offer every time I step into a home.
